adidas’ new EQT 91/18 is still fresh on release pages, and already receiving a Consortium upgrade. For this project, the Stripes have tapped New Jersey boutique Packer Shoes for a special outdoor-ready release.
Packer and adidas are a formidable duo when it comes to sneaker releases. As a member of the brand’s Consortium tier, Packer has special access to materials, machinery, and designs when creating a new Three Stripes collaboration. It appears that the design team took all of these into account when creating their next release, the EQT 91/18 “Adventure”. Built for the outdoors, this rugged take on the new silhouette repurposes the brand’s latest lifestyle sneaker with a significant improvement. Using a wool based Primeknit, the toe box of the shoe comes in a mix of tan and black. The heel sections of the shoe are supported thick, hairy suede to contrast the sleeker front areas, while a TPU midfoot cage bridges the two. The ankle lining utilizes smooth tumbled leather for a cleaner fit, while the Boost midsole is completed with a plain black finish.

The brand new Packer Shoes x adidas EQT 91-18 is scheduled to debut on September 29th, 2018, with a global release planned later on October 6th.
