This policy explains how JustFreshKicks, LLC, a company incorporated and based in New York, United States, handles information in connection with justfreshkicks.com and our related communications and social-media giveaways. Information we collect and use
When you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, subject and message. Contact-form messages are delivered to our email inbox. We use them to respond to inquiries, review corrections or rights requests, and communicate with you. Sending a contact message does not sign you up for a newsletter. Please avoid including sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your request.
When you visit the site, our website infrastructure and third-party services can process technical and usage information, including IP addresses, browser and device information, pages visited, referring URLs and interactions with content or advertisements. These services use information to deliver the site, maintain security, measure usage and provide advertising.
Newsletters are currently paused. We previously used Mailchimp and have not resumed newsletters since moving away from that service. A future newsletter provider has not yet been selected. Historical subscription records may include the contact details you supplied, subscription preferences, and email engagement records held by the newsletter provider. If we resume email updates, the signup information and this policy will identify the provider and explain the proposed use. You can use an unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact us about your subscription or historical records.
We occasionally run free giveaways on social media, such as asking readers to like or repost an entry post and randomly selecting winners for a gift card or shoes. We can see the profile information and entry activity made available through the platform. We may ask a selected winner for the contact or delivery details needed to provide the prize. We use this information to administer the giveaway, check entries, contact winners and deliver prizes. A social-media entry does not by itself subscribe you to our newsletter. The platform also handles information under its own privacy policy.
JustFreshKicks does not sell products directly or offer site memberships. Purchases made through our affiliate links take place with separate retailers; do not send payment-card details to our contact inbox.
The site also retains legacy comment records. If you previously submitted a comment, a record may include your comment and the contact or technical information supplied with it. Contact us about access to or deletion of a past comment.
Services, advertising and information sharing
We use service providers for website hosting and delivery, security, communications, analytics and advertising. Information may be processed by these providers as part of supplying their services. Their practices and the choices they offer also depend on the service, your location and your settings.
Advertising

Advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to provide, personalize and measure advertising. Google services
The site uses Google Analytics to measure website usage. Our contact form also uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and abuse. These services can process device, connection and interaction information. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Jetpack and Automattic
The site has Jetpack statistics, site monitoring and login-protection features enabled. Depending on the feature used, Automattic can process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, visit information and login activity for statistics and security. Newsletter providers and subscriber lists
Mailchimp processed historical subscriber information in connection with our former newsletter service. See Mailchimp’s legal and privacy information. Provider processing and retention depend on the applicable agreements, account status and settings. We remain your contact for requests about the JustFreshKicks subscriber list.
We do not sell or share our subscriber lists with partners for their own marketing. Newsletter service providers may process subscriber information to supply the newsletter service. This statement concerns subscriber lists; the separate advertising data practices described above still apply.
Other disclosures and external sites
We may disclose information when required by law, to address security or legal concerns, or in connection with a business transfer. Our articles also link to retailers, social platforms and other websites. Information you provide on another site is handled under that site’s policies. Retailer links may be affiliate links; see our affiliate disclosure.
Cookies and privacy choices
Cookies and similar technologies support site features, measurement and advertising. The controls available to you depend on the service and your region. The footer’s “Privacy Choices” link brings you to this explanation; opening this page does not itself change an advertising preference.
- Advertising choices: Where Raptive provides a consent message or a “Do not sell or share my personal information” link at the bottom of the page, use that control to make or change your advertising choices. Raptive’s controls apply to its advertising systems and participating partners; they do not automatically control every separate service on this website.
- Browser settings: Your browser can block or remove cookies. Blocking cookies may affect some site functions. Choices stored in cookies may need to be made again after clearing them or when using a different browser or device.
- Google Analytics: Google offers a browser opt-out add-on. This is a Google Analytics control and does not disable other services or all advertising.
- Contact us: For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, email info@justfreshkicks.com or use our contact form. Please identify the request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records.
Global Privacy Control is a browser privacy signal that is different from the older Do Not Track setting. Applicable laws may require covered businesses to recognize certain opt-out signals. Available advertising controls and their operation are described in Raptive’s statement linked above. If a privacy control is unavailable or you need help exercising a right, contact us.
How long we keep information
Contact messages: Messages stay in our email inbox until manually deleted. We currently do not have a fixed automatic deletion schedule, so a message may remain for an extended period. You can ask us to delete correspondence associated with you. A request may be subject to verification and exceptions for records needed to resolve an ongoing matter or meet a legal obligation.
Historical newsletter records: Records held by Mailchimp are subject to the account’s status, settings, applicable service agreements and Mailchimp’s retention practices. Pausing newsletters does not itself delete subscriber information, and archiving a contact is different from permanently deleting it. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your JustFreshKicks subscription records.
Giveaways, legacy comments and service records: Retention varies with the record and service. Relevant factors include prize fulfillment, resolving questions or disputes, security, privacy requests and legal obligations. Provider logs and backups can have separate retention periods. We have not adopted a single fixed deletion period covering all these records. Contact us about records associated with your interactions with us.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain sale, sharing or targeted advertising uses. Some laws also provide a right to appeal a denied request or complain to a privacy regulator. Rights may be subject to verification requirements and legal exceptions.
You may exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination. To appeal a privacy-request decision where that right applies, reply to our response or email us with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. We will consider and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. We may need information to verify a request or an authorized agent’s authority. You do not need to create an account to contact us about privacy. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that lawfully took place before withdrawal.
