Pharrell Williams and adidas are having a big year in 2026. The partners have had a new sneaker releases every month, and this week we are marking our calendars in September for their Virginia Water Moc debut.
Pharrell’s tenure with adidas as one of the most frequent collaborators has delivered some truly iconic footwear in the past decade. In 2016, Skateboard P’s take on the NMD_R1 took over the sneaker world, with resale prices of the primary colored shoes reaching into the thousands of dollars. Fast forward to 2025, and the launch of their Jellyfish runner found its way onto plenty of Sneaker of the Year lists, despite only dropping in two very limited releases by December. This year, they’ve rolled out plenty of new footwear options, through the Humanrace line as well as some models under P’s Virginia brand. Today a new sneaker has surfaced for the artist and designer’s hometown label, the Water Moc. Seen in just two photos, the silhouette is an adaptation of your standard water-ready shoe, a simple, breathable upper with a grippy sole unit for scrambling over underwater terrain. The colorway seen here combines a dark brown underlay with Ray Blue and metallic silver paneling, all mounted on a gum sole, which sports Virginia branding underneath.

The latest sneaker from Pharrell Williams and adidas to leak is currently expected to release on September 15th, 2026, though there will likely not be any confirmation of this date for the next few months. Bringing the Water Moc to their Virginia-branded line of sneakers, the slim silhouette is seen here in a “Ray Blue” color. Pairs will be available through both partners as well as select retailers, with an expected MSRP of $140.
