adidas fresh revival of the Equipment franchise, which kicked off earlier this Summer, continues later this month with Overkill’s limited-edition release of the EQT CSG 91, paying homage to the franchise’s famous colorways.

adidas Originals is set to revive the Equipment family of footwear in the next year, a long process that the brand began to rollout earlier this year, in celebration of the franchise’s thirtieth anniversary. Partnering with twelve of their longtime collaborative partners, the EQT project gives these designers one of four silhouettes that are the focus of the project, reworking them to their liking. This week, Berlin’s Overkill store unveiled their version of the EQT CSG 91, an early ’90s lightweight running shoe. This release takes its inspiration from the Equipment line’s famous accent colors, most famously the “EQT Green” shade in addition to eye-catching shades of blue and pink. These tones are applied to the CSG 91’s stripes and a few other accents pieces, while a white and grey construction completes the rest of the shoe.
