adidas’ Consortium Cup winners are rolling out this season, bringing us many different takes on the classic Samba OG from an array of collaborators. This week, BSTN released their nylon and leather pair, dropping globally soon.
adidas’ Consortium Cup tournament from earlier this year is getting ready for its first releases this month, with pairs from Nice Kicks and Sneaker Politics leading the way. While the releases are a bit hard to track, adidas has slotted more to arrive in the coming months, which includes the global release of BSTN’s take on the Samba OG, which swaps out the classic materials for something new. Instead, the shoe’s base layer comes in a white ballistic nylon for incredible durability, adding a patent leather mudguard in tan and suede stripes in black. The heel counter is swapped for a black molded plastic, while the retailer’s star logo is added to the tongues in a chenille patch.
