adidas has been going all out with their Ultra Boost revival the past few months. While plenty of fans have already picked up past colorways they missed, adidas is continuing to release old models, like this Ultra Boost 2.0 “White Gradient”.

By now, adidas’ unexpected revival of the first two iterations of Ultra Boost is old news. However, with the recent announcement of the brand’s celebratory Boost Week, we are still being surprised by which old colorways are coming back for the occasion. Earlier this morning, adidas updated their online release calendar with some new and old looks, including a slightly modified Ultra Boost 2.0 in the famous “White Gradient” colorway. Originally released in 2016 as the Ultra Boost was gaining momentum in the sneaker scene, the color scheme adds depth to a white shoe by way of the multi-faceted Primeknit toe box, which allows for interesting customization thanks to the special knit pattern. The pattern includes shades of white, a yellowish off-white, and grey, fading from dark on the outer edges to lighter tones in the toe. While much of the retro colorway is the same as the original, the previously grey heel cup has instead been swapped for white, giving the shoe a more flat look overall. If you cannot wait to get your hands on the latest Ultra Boost 2.0 retro, fear not, as they will be capping off the Boost Week celebration alongside the previously NYC-exclusive “Liberty” Ultra Boost.
