adidas has spent the latter half of 2018 bringing some of their classic Boost models since the tech was released in 2013. Now, with the year coming to an end, they are going all out with Boost Week, dropping the ultra-limited adidas Ultra Boost 2.0 LTD “Liberty”.
With November coming to a close, adidas is getting ready to kick off their highly anticipated Boost week. Lasting from December 1st, 2018 until December 7th, the brand will be celebrating all things Boost, and specifically, the Ultra Boost. This week, adidas finally announced their plans for the celebration, and they have plenty of heat in store for us. First up, the adidas Ultra Boost returns in all of its original glory on the 1st. Then, the week is filled with old colorways on the new Ultra Boost 4.0, as well as some other premium choices from the legendary 1.0 and 2.0 versions. However, the cream of the crop drops in stores next Friday.
The adidas Ultra Boost 2.0 LTD “Lady Liberty” is considered by many to be one of the greatest Ultra Boost colorways of all time. Originally released in 2016, the special edition has become the stuff of legends, as one of the first iterations of the Ultra Boost to hit adidas’ miadidas customization platform. Strictly sold at the New York City flagship store, the “Lady Liberty” Ultra Boost 2.0 was sold for just a few days, and only given to those with an exclusive access code. Users were granted access to the miadidas platform, where they could paint the Ultra Boost 2.0 in an array of greys and teals made to mimic the Statue of Liberty. Now, adidas is finally bringing back the “Liberty” Ultra Boost in 2018.

adidas has planned to cap off its upcoming “Boost Week” with the grand return of the Ultra Boost 2.0 LTD “Lady Liberty”. The special edition sneaker will finally see a wide release on December 7th, 2018. This “retro” release will carry the standard Ultra Boost price of $180, and it is currently unclear if they will be available elsewhere than adidas.
