The adidas Gazelle has been a staple of the brand’s arsenal since its introduction in 1968. In ’79, the brand reworked the fan-favorite soccer shoe, dubbed the Gazelle Indoor, which returns in a premium fashion this month.
The adidas Originals Gazelle Indoor has been a staple in the world of soccer and on the feet of sneakerheads for decades. Built to provide extra traction on various indoor court styles, the Gazelle’s timeless design has seen a burst in popularity in the past year, thanks to some exciting collaborators like Blondey and Wales Bonner. Now, the Three Stripes are gearing up to release a refreshed version of the classic trainer, casting the shoe in premium suede uppers for 2022. Starting off with three original color schemes, Core Black, Scarlet, and Bluebird, all three pairs feature a tonal-colored upper, broken up by white leather stripes and heel counters. Each shoe is mounted on top of a gum rubber midsole with a semi-translucent quality, while gold foil Gazelle branding completes the look.

adidas’ Originals latest iteration of the Gazelle Indoor has been slated to release later this month, on July 15th, 2022. Launching in three colorways, Core Black, Scarlet, and Bluebird, pairs will be available directly from the Three Stripes with a price tag of $150 attached.
