The adidas Speedfactory is one of the most ambitious manufacturing projects in recent memory. With several successful releases already accomplished across the globe, the Three Stripes are crossing the ocean to Shanghai with the AM4SH.
The adidas Speedfactory initiative is well underway, and beginning to produce a shocking amount of sneakers each month. Hot off of the heels of the AM4MLS, adidas has announced the next release in their “City Series” line of AM4’s. Having worked closely with runners from London, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, the Three Stripes is ready to introduce the Shanghai model to the world, marking the first AM4 designed and manufactured in an Asian country.
adidas’ latest addition to their Speedfactory AM4 lineup may be the sleekest colorway yet. The Primeknit upper begins with a variety of colors in a striped pattern including black, steel grey, and a deep green hue. Each color is layered upon the last, fading into each other to create a gradient of color from left to right. The dark green tone is mixed in well with the other colors, and can mainly be seen around the ankle lining wear the wearer’s ankle rests. Next, this AM4 adds a handful of black support taping to the outside, adding a striped look from the center of the foot all the way to the toe. The flexible support pieces also continue onto the heel in a triangular pattern. Finally, the new adidas Speedfactory AM4 built for Shanghai is complete with a plain white Boost midsole.
ADIDAS SPEEDFACTORY AM4 SHANGHAI RELEASE INFORMATION
The adidas Speedfactory AM4SH is finally scheduled to release later this week on July 27th, 2018. The smooth green & black colorway will retail for the usual $200 price tag from both adidas and select retailers.
