Alex Lopez’s Youth of Paris brand has teamed up with adidas Originals, bringing the punk-inspired design language to the Three Stripes’ Campus 80s sneaker, dropping later this year.

Youth of Paris’ unique style and colorful branding are making their way into adidas’ circle of collaborators this year, marking the first foray into footwear for the Alex Lopez-led label. For their first project, the Parisian brand is highlighting adidas’ Campus 80s sneaker, elevating the shoe through a wealth of exciting materials, and an aging factor that makes each pair a one-of-one over time. The Youth of Paris Campus begins with a black denim upper, with added overlays along the midsole and a leather heel counter. Nearly every inch of the shoe adds seemingly random stitching lines across the various panels, as if someone scribbled over them with a black pen. Additionally, thick purple bar tack stitching appears in various places around the Campus, adding some extra color alongside the YoP neon green logos.
