The adidas Yeezy 500 officially launched last week in its Blush colorway. Now, we have our first look at a new colorway coming later this year, covered in Ultraviolet.

The adidas Yeezy range of footwear is ever expanding. With the release of the Yeezy 500 “Blush” now behind us, we begin to look forward into 2018 in hopes of catching a glimpse of the next Yeezy. We are in luck today, as the YeezyMafia announced a brand new colorway for the most recent silhouette after Kanye took to Twitter yesterday to reveal old Yeezy 350 mock-ups. This Fall, the adidas Yeezy 500 will drop in an exciting new “Ultraviolet” colorway. The new Ultraviolet theme drapes the entire upper in a deep purple tone. Known as the color of royalty and luxury, purple is no surprising choice for Kanye. The Yeezy 500 is then finished off with a gum outsole. This is the first time that so much eye-catching color has appeared on an adidas Yeezy, and likely will not be the last. Previously, the adidas Yeezy line has stuck with neutral tones and monotone color schemes, with the exception of the yellow Yeezy Boost V2 from 2017.
