James Harden and Y-3 both have a penchant for high-performance goods. It was revealed early this year that the two adidas-backed brands would be collaborating on a capsule collection, highlighted by an alien-like shoe featuring the new BYW technology.
The adidas Y-3 brand is known for their far-fetched designs and futuristic look. With the recent addition of James Harden to the adidas family, the high-fashion label run by Yohji Yamamoto has some new inspiration to build on. The stat Houston Rockets guard is still fresh off the release of his second performance silhouette. Now, the All-Star and fashion fanatic has collaborated with Y-3 on an extensive collection including footwear and apparel. The highlight of the new partnership if the Y-3 JH Boost shoe, which is a luxurious spin on the new adidas BYW silhouette, utilizing the pod-like Boost sole, the upper features a mixture of neoprene, mesh, and suede for a slim mid-cut look. Most of the upper on this pair is white, though the suede toe box comes in a darker tan. The Y-3 JH Boost is available now from Packer Shoes.
