Earlier this month, adidas and Xbox unveiled a new partnership turning the beloved video-game consoles into sneakers. Now, the two are already gearing up for their second release, the “Series X” Forum Tech Boost.

The intersection of gaming and sneakers is upon us, or rather, it left us in the dust sometime early in 2021. Now, the floodgates are open, and soon your favorite video game properties will be presented in sneaker format. The latest project to join the fray comes from Xbox and adidas, who first announced an ongoing collaboration earlier this month in the form of an Xbox-360-inspired Forum Mid. Now, the two are back, this time celebrating the flagship Xbox Series X console with a limited release of the adidas Forum Tech Boost. Featuring technical materials to reflect the advanced computational tech inside the Series X, the shoe features a blacked out upper with hints of silver and lime green accents, while a translucent midsole shows off the Boost inside.
