adidas and Microsoft’s Xbox team have begun a new partnership this year, kicking off with a special-edition Forum Low earlier this year to celebrate the Xbox Series X. Now, the two are back, paying homage to the Xbox 360 with a new Forum Mid.
Microsoft’s Xbox gaming division has a surprisingly long history in the sneaker world, utilizing footwear as an external medium for collaboration. This year, the Xbox team announced their new partnership with adidas, working with the athletic retailer on a number of new projects, one of which was finally unveiled today. Releasing tomorrow, adidas and Xbox have created a special-edition Forum Mid celebrating the Xbox 360, one of the most celebrated and beloved video game consoles of all time. This edition of the Forum takes after the 360, constructed almost entirely from crisp white leather, with gunmetal grey accents making up the tongue and collar, while silver chrome panels mimic the 360’s shiny disc drive. The signature Xbox logo can be found on either side of the ankle, while a lime green outsole completes the look. Finally, Xbox and adidas have added four extra colors of laces, matching the color of the Xbox controller’s A,B,X, and Y buttons.

The next project from Microsoft’s Xbox team and adidas, the Forum Mid “Xbox 360” has been scheduled to release tomorrow, on November 4th, 2021. The white and silver pair will be available directly from adidas’ website, with a price tag of $160.
