It’s been a while since we last saw a collaborative sneaker release from Copenhagen’s Wood Wood and adidas Consortium. This week, the two are teaming up for two special-edition colorways of the Ultraboost 2019.
It’s been over three and a half years since Wood Wood released their take on the adidas Ultraboost 1.0 for the Consortium program. Since then, their two unique versions of the advanced running silhouette have remained some of the most elusive, commonly found in the posession of true adidas collectors and heralded as one of the best adidas Consortium releases of all time. With resale prices still averaging upwards of $500, some have given up on their quest for a Wood Wood Ultraboost. Luckily, the Denmark-based brand is teaming up with adidas Consortium for two new colorways of the Ultraboost 2019. The first pair mixes an olive green upper with tan inner lining and yellow lacing, while the second features a predominantly white upper with accents in a subtle burnt orange tone. Both shoes feature adidas Performance logos on the lateral cages, and Wood Wood’s W.W. mark on the medial sides. Both sets come with branded lacing systems and an extra set of laces.

The latest project from Denmark’s Wood Wood and adidas Consortium is scheduled to release later this week, on November 7th, 2019. The two colorways of the Ultraboost 2019 will carry a slight raise in price at $200, releasing from Wood Wood as well as select Consortium retail partners.
