Longtime collaborators Wood Wood and adidas have a fresh release this week, reworking the Forum Low basketball shoe with materials and colorways built for the tennis court, available now.
adidas’ Forum Low continues its hot streak this month, partnering with Copenhagen-based boutique Wood Wood for a new collaboration. Reworked and reimagined by the store’s co-founder Brian Jensen, the project takes the silhouette originally intended for basketball and gives it a new twist, building it instead for the tennis court. Changes to the shoe’s design include a lightweight, breathable mesh base layer, adding leather overlays to the mudguard, quarter panels, and heels. Wood Wood also took the liberty of removing the ankle strap, focusing on the lockdown provided through the traditional lacing system. Arriving in three colorways, you have your choice of red, blue, or yellow-striped pairs, paired with a heel clips and inner linings in the other colors.
