After becoming apart of the Three Stripes family in July, the University of Washington has been given their own adidas Ultra Boost that bleeds Huskies Spirit.
Although we knew adidas would be taking care of the purple and gold jersey’s and merchandise this year, an Ultra Boost was not in anyone’s wildest dreams. As college football season has already started, UW’s 2019-2020 season is getting underway this Saturday as they face Eastern WA. Now players, students, and even fans can all support the Huskies with a purple and gold edition of the adidas Ultra Boost.
Regardless of if you’re a Huskies fan, there’s no denying that these look amazing. The team at adidas took their time on these to add bits of detail that make all the difference. The upper arrives in huskies purple primeknit that features a design of a white weaved pattern to add just the right amount of contrast to the silhouette. As purple laces tie the shoe down, a purple lace cage that adds much-needed support is painted in gold to highlight the Three Stripes branding. The luxe-look continues as a gold heel counter and white Boost midsole finishes off the College Gameday-ready sneaker.
UW X ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST “HUSKIES”
These will release this Saturday August 31st, 2019 as the Huskies are starting their 2019-2020 season. They will be available via exclusive access to adidas Creators Club members before releasing to the general public at an unknown later date. You can sign up here though, for the release this weekend. Whether a fan of UW or just a fan of the adidas Ultra Boost, everyone looks to be pleased with this pair.
