While the new NBA season has already begun and is in full swing, adidas still wants to celebrate the amazing run the Toronto Raptors put together last year. Dubbed the “World Champs”, this adidas AM4 arrives in a luxurious theme dedicated to the Toronto Raptors themselves.
Last NBA seasons’ Toronto Raptors weren’t short of amazing. The team had faced diversity every which way and overcame the obstacles to win the Championship. One of the most inspirational sports stories of the decade, adidas wants to honor the team, the city, and the championship title with an AM4.
The silhouette arrives with a white upper that sees grey writing across the entire silhouette. The writing features dates and scores of their playoff and Finals game that really showcase their run and bring back tons of memories. In luxurious gold, World Champs is featured across the side of the toe that spells out, “World Champs”. The shoe can’t go without a Raptors logo, so on a contrasting red heel counter, the Toronto Raptors logo draws in all of the attention. Black laces, a white Boost midsole and black outsole finish off the design.

If you’re interested in picking up a pair, sadly the odds are not in your favor as only 613 pairs will be released, in honor of June 13th, when they won the championship. The pairs will release in the Toronto Raptors Mobile App starting Sunday November 17th at 9:00 AM EST. A retail price is still unknown at this time.
