As the year continues to heat up here’s the rundown for the top sneaker releases of August 2022, which looks to be a great month for sneaker both enthusiasts and collectors.
As summer begins to wind down and the fall season approaches quickly, the sneaker industry still has a handful of brightly colored kicks to release, and thanks to delays, it looks like August has a lot to offer since most brands have a collection of drops scheduled for the next month. Let’s go ahead and jump right in starting with Nike.
NIKE RELEASES
To start, Nike SB will be dropping their Skate Like a Girl Dunk Low rendition while the Dunk Low will be dropping in its own Vast Grey, Neptune and Graffiti renditions. Tom Sachs will also be restocking his General Purpose Shoe with potential new drops in white/red, white/black, and grey. If that’s not enough they’re also throwing the Air Max Penny 1 at us in both the Orlando and Home colorways while the Nike Air Force 1 will be dropping in the SNKRS Day makeover and in Mid form highlighted by Jewel Nike Swoosh logos. Finally, Patta will be releasing their two new Air Max 1 colorways.
ADIDAS RELEASES
Next up we’ll take a look at adidas’ August collection which will be the best month of the year from The Three Stripes thanks to Yeezy Day 2022. Spread out through two days, the event will feature a full restock of the most coveted designs and silhouettes from Kanye and adidas over the years. While the day will play host to over twenty different releases, some of the drops include the 350 Turtle Dove, 350 Red Stripe, 350 Hyperspace, the 700 Azael, 700 Static, and other releases such as old and new Foam Runners. Other adidas drops will also include the Bad Bunny adidas Forum Low in Blue and an official restock the the South Park x adidas Campus 80’s Towelie.
AIR JORDAN RELEASES
Jordan Brand will come with the heat like usual with a handful of drops including a variety of the brands’ beloved silhouettes. Beginning with the Air Jordan 1, the High will be dropping in a Stealth option while the Low and Air Jordan 1 KO will also be included in August in the Craft, and Syracuse offerings. Going down the list, the Air Jordan 3 Dark Iris, Air Jordan 4 Purple Canyon, Air Jordan 5 Concord, Air Jordan 7 Citrus, Air Jordan 12 China, Air Jordan 12 Stealth, Air Jordan 13 French Blue, and the Air Jordan 14 Ginger will also be scheduled to release this coming month, a great rotation of releases offering many different vibes.
OTHER RELEASES
Other releases you can look forward to include the JJJJound x Reebok NPC II Chalk and the thisisneverthat x New Balance collection, as well as more drops from the Teddy Santis MADE collection.
