Last week’s release of The Simpsons x adidas ZX 10000 “Krusty Burger” appears to be just the tip of the iceberg, as two more Simpsons-inspired adidas sneaker have surfaced this week. Check out the “Flaming Moe’s” ZX 1000, coming soon.
Fans of The Simpsons who missed out on adidas’ release of the “Krusty Burger”-inspired ZX 10000C last week, fear not, as it appears the two partners have created a larger capsule collection, of which the Krusty ZX was a small stepping stone. Released as part of the ongoing A-ZX series, the Krusty Burger ZX10K appears to be just a teaser for a larger Simpsons x adidas collaboration, which we have our first look at today, starting with the “Flaming Moe’s” ZX 1000. Inspired by the alcoholic cocktail of Homer’s creation and subsequently stolen and served by Moe at his tavern, the Flaming Moe ZX features the same purple hue as the cartoon refreshment, with the addition of some fiery accents and plenty of details to complete the look. The “Flaming Moe’s” ZX 1000 begins with a rich purple mesh base layer, reinforced by lighter purple nubuck overlays, the edges of which are bound in black. The shoe’s signature Three Stripes come in red, while the lower quarter panel has been reshaped and given some extra layers to create an incredibly detailed fire decal. The name of the drink appears on the shoe’s woven tongue label, while Flaming Moe lace dubraes complete the collaboration.

The next release from the new partnership between adidas Originals and The Simpsons, the “Flaming Moe’s” ZX 1000, has been announced for release later this week on May 12th, 2021. Dressed in purple with fire-colored accents, this limited-edition ZX silhouette will be available from both adidas and select retailers.
