The collaboration between The Simpsons and adidas Originals, turning classic Three Stripes shoes into character-themed colorways, continues this Fall, starting with Ned Flander’s adidas McCarten in October.

It’s been a few months since we last saw a release from the ongoing collaboration between The Simpsons and adidas Originals. The project kicked off late in 2020, transforming some of our favorite adidas sneakers into representations of various characters and moments from the show’s legendary 32 (and counting) year run. From the initial “Krusty Burger” ZX 10000 to the more recent “Flaming Moe’s” ZX 1000, each edition has typically been more bright and colorful than the last. However, for the next The Simpsons adidas release, things are getting a little more tame with the Ned Flanders-edition adidas McCarten. The McCarten, a vintage-style moccasin shoe from the Spezial range, is dressed in Flanders’ signature colors, featuring an olive green leather upper with brown suede overlays, while a pink inner lining completes the look. Gold foil adidas branding is visible on the lateral sides of each shoe, while Flanders’ portrait decorates the leather hangtags.

The next Simpsons’ themed release from adidas Originals, the “Ned Flanders” McCarten, has been scheduled to release later this Fall, on October 3rd, 2021. The upscale lifestyle model made from suede and leather will be available from both adidas and select retailers, with a price tag of $120. Check out the official images below for a better look at the Flanders-themed shoe, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more adidas release news.
