The adidas Sobakov has remained relatively untouched since its debut last year, save for a lone collaboration with Boston’s Bodega. Now, to help introduce the all-new Boost version, adidas has tapped Spain’s Sivasdescalzo for a Consortium release.

The adidas Sobakov has been around for about a year now and has made a name for itself among adidas heads as a stylish and comfortable terrace trainer. Now, as the Three Stripes inches closer to debuting the soccer-inspired model with a brand new Boost-filled midsole, the higher-end Consortium sector has tapped Spanish sneaker store Sivasdescalzo with releasing the first collaborative effort on the reworked silhouette.

For their exclusive first take at the Sobakov Boost, Sivasdescalzo has gone loud and large on the color scheme. The shoe’s mesh base layer comes sectioned into three colors, black at the toe, green across the midfoot, and crips blue leather around the heel. The reworked stripes of the Sobakov are constructed from burnt orange suede to mimic the aggressiveness of their shape, and locking down the tongue attached to the outer side of the upper. The midsole features blacked out Boost along the along, while a sculpted EVA gum sole protects the soft cushioning through the midfoot and toes. Finally, the Consortium tongue tags feature a reworked SVD logo made into a soccer-inspired character.
