Star Wars and adidas add another silhouette to their invasive collection as the Alphaedge 4D joins the fun with a “Death Star” theme.
Star Wars and adidas are one of the collaborations that have surprised many this year. Not that we’re surprised that the two are creating themed editions on adidas’ best silhouettes but for the fact of how huge the collaboration is appearing to be. Over the past two month we have seen numerous models surface as the two look to be all in on the promo for the new Star Wars film that arrives in December.
We’ve seen NMD’s, Ultra Boosts and Nite Joggers all add their take to the collection but the new futuristic Alphaedge 4D looks to join in with the veterans as well now. This edition arrives with a black primeknit upper that features a “Death Star” etching on the lace eyelets. Co-branded tongues add a bit of contrast from the black while the carbon green 4D midsole adds just the right amount of color. “THE POWER OF THE DARK SIDE” is also featured on the heel for a nice dedicated spell out.
