Keeping things local, adidas’ Trae Young 1 will be featured in a new collaboration with So So Def Recordings which is based in Atlanta.

Although Atlanta is a premier city in the US, the community there is as tight as ever. With many influential figures going back to their city in multiple ways, Trae Young has decided to start off his collaborations on his signature shoe the right way, with an in-house collection brought to you by So So Def Recordings. This rendition is inspired by the iconic So So Def billboard in Atlants that features a vibrant design of Yellow, Black, and Solar Red.

To match, the Trae Young 1 sports a mesh upper that’s highlighted by highlighter yellow and black in a zig-zag design. Solar Red lace hoops begin the red takeover while the color is also placed on the traction-infused rubber outsoles. A white midsole decked out with Boost technology is accented by black Three Stripes branding while So So Def branding is placed on the heels.

The So So Def Recordings x adidas Trae Young 1 collection will be dropping on November 5th, 2021 via select adidas retailers and for $140. Enjoy official images of the pair below and make sure to follow JustFreshKicks for updates and more of the latest sneaker news from your favorite brands.
