SneakersNStuff adidas HRLMSneakersNStuff has teamed up with adidas for a new release this month, reviving the 1980s HRLM silhouette for the first time ever since its initial and limited release in the early ’80s.

adidas’ archives are filled with regional-exclusive silhouettes, most of which have never seen the light of day after their initial release. This week, SneakersNStuff has unveiled a new project featuring one of these models, the HRLM. Created for and named after Harlem in New York City, the model was originally released in the early 1980s in a limited run, taking inspiration from basketball shoes of the time and mixing it with the Three Stripes’ classic trainers. For this release, SNS and adi have recreated the shoe as closely to the original as possible, crafting the HRLM from premium leathers, adding nubuck overlays to the toes and heels. The base tones come in white and off-white, with various shades of blue making up the Three Stripes as well as the tongue and heel badges.¬†
