The adidas Consortium has established itself as a unique design team that works on the Three Stripes most limited products. Similar to years past, the special section of adidas has continued their global collab tour, stopping by Slam Jam in Italy this month.

adidas’ Consortium sector has been on fire in 2018, releasing a string of unique takes on both new and old sneakers. This year has even seen the revival of the famed Ultra Boost Consortium series, as well as a similar series based around the brand’s new Futurecraft 4D technology. However, these ventures have not kept the Consortium team too busy to continue their regularly scheduled drops with boutiques around the world. This month, the global tour bus stops in Italy with Slam Jam Socialism giving their take on the new POD System 3.1. Slam Jam’s new limited edition release mixes modern technology with old-school materials, making use of both Primeknit and supple leather across the upper in white. The upgraded heel tab rests on the back in black, while a translucent black midfoot bridge joins the white Boost heel pod to the off-white forefoot section of the sole. Finally, the new POD 3.1 is finished off by dual-branded consortium tags on each tongue.
