UK retailer size?’s relationship with adidas might be one of their strongest, as the two have been releasing new projects on a monthly basis for, well, months now. This week, that release continues the ongoing “City Series” with a special silhouette for Shanghai.
The adidas archives are filled to the brim with plenty of terrace-style trainers, beloved in the United Kingdom for their simple shape and ultimate wearability. This week, UK-retailer size? is tapping into those archives once again, continuing their ongoing “City Series” special-edition releases. This time around, the two partners are making a stop in Shanghai, paying homage to the city’s unique cityscape and skyline through the dark colorway. The silhouette’s suede upper is doused in a deep navy blue, with bold orange stripes and a purple heel counter to represent the city’s lights reflecting off of the river. Gold foil branding is added to the tongue and Shanghai branding to complete the look.

size?’s special release of the adidas Originals Shanghai has been announced for release next week on September 10th, 2020. The smooth blue color scheme of the vintage silhouette will be available exclusively from the size? website and retail stores, with a price tag likely in the $120 range.
