Come on guys, it’s literally the first rule. Anyways since we’re already talking about it, size? and adidas are paying tribute to David Fincher’s legendary film with a special-edition “Fight Club” Campus ’80s, coming soon.
U.K. retailer size? is well-known for its limited-edition releases, which see the store teaming up with nearly every footwear brand under the sun for their endless string of shop exclusives. One of their strongest partnerships is that with adidas, as the German brand’s vintage trainers and terrace sneakers are immensely popular throughout the United Kingdom. This week, the two have unveiled their latest work, taking a slight departure from the usual city or country-themed releases to dip into celebrated films, beginning with David Fincher’s classic Fight Club. Using the Campus ’80s as a canvas, the look is built from black suede with asymmetrical accents to represent The Narrator’s split personality. The left shoe adds navy blue panels for the lacing system and pinstriped stripes on the medial side, a light blue heel counter, and a “Hello, my name is Tyler Durden” nametag replacing the tongue branding. The right shoe is more colorful, featuring sandy-colored fur for the inner stripes and bold pink accents. Finally, the Campus’s outsoles are printed with the movie’s name to complete the look
SIZE? X ADIDAS ORIGINALS CAMPUS 80S “FIGHT CLUB” RELEASE INFORMATION
The latest collaboration from U.K. retailer size? and adidas Originals, the “Fight Club”-themed Campus 80, will be available exclusively from the overseas retailer when it launches sometime this Spring season. The movie-themed Campus will likely come with an elevated price tag somewhere in the $120+ range. UPDATE 9/5/21: After some major delays caused by the current state of the world, U.K. retailer size? has finally announced a release date for their “Fight Club”-themed adidas Campus 80s. Set for September 10th, 2021, via the store’s Previews app. The movie-inspired pair will be available in both mens and women’s sizes? with a price tag of approximately $120.
