adidas and UK retailer Size? have a special relationship. On an almost monthly basis, the shop releases an extremely exclusive pair of kicks. This time around, the Yung-1 and Falcon are dressed in clean yellow colorways to celebrate the “Acid House” theme.
The latest project from size? and adidas Originals might be one of the strangest yet. Inspired by Acid House culture, the shoes featured in the collection come covered in bold yellow colorways supported by freakishly happy smiley faces. The faces are made to mimic those that have been famously found on hits of acid, and inspired an entire social movement. To help showcase this theme, the size? team is going to work with the Yung-1 and Falcon, adidas’ two newest silhouettes straight from the 90’s. The Yung-1 has so far been heralded as the jewel of the collection, beginning with a bright yellow base for the color scheme. Next, layers of white, black, and grey add depth to the silhouette through the various suede and mesh layers. For the Falcon, the women’s sneaker comes in a smooth grey tone with black and white detailing while minimal yellow hits along the sole keep the look fresh.

The next size? x adidas exclusive “Acid House” project is ready to release on August 24th, 2018. The Yung-1 from the pair will retail for the standard $130, while the Falcon will retain its usual $100 retail price.
