Recouture’s relationship with adidas came to a head this year when the customizer-turned-designer teamed up with the brand for a special collaboration. Now, the two are back, this time with tonal editions of the reworked Campus, launching this week.
The partnership between Japan’s Recouture and adidas kicked off back in 2019 when the customizer was called upon to appear during adidas’ Maker Lab event, which invited creatives from around the world to put their spin on classic adidas sneakers. The two would go on to debut their collaborative partnership early in 2020, teaming up with another Japanese staple, mita sneakers, to rework the Campus in colorful, color-blocked suede. Now, Recouture and adidas have linked up for an exclusive partnership, building upon their restructured Campus that debuted this year. This time around, the Campus comes in two colorways, with your choice of black suede and white stripes/midsole, or a solid cream white version. Both pairs feature the same details as the original, with custom stripes and suede applied to the lateral sides of the midsole.

The latest project from new partners Recouture and adidas have been slated to release later this week, on November 21st, 2020. Available in black or white tonal suede, pairs will be available from both adidas and select retailers like 43Einhalb with a retail price tag of approximately $140.
