Sneaker customizer and all-around apparel artist Phillip Leyesa, AKA Philllllthy has teamed up with adidas for his first sneaker collaboration, featuring a Primeknit build of the NMD S1.

Sneaker customizations have been a large part of the industry for decades, giving customers the option to alter shoes to their liking. In recent years, thanks in part to the internet, customization has become more widespread, with popular artists able to share their work with the world, and in some cases, sell it. Among the more popular artists is Phillip Leyesa, AKA Philllllthy. Known for his ‘aged’ styles and reworking apparel, you’ve probably seen his work shared on your favorite blog’s Instagram page. This week, a collaboration between Philllllthy and adidas surfaced online, marking his first official work with a brand. Featuring the NMD S1, Leyesa’s take on the somewhat recent silhouette includes a patterned Primeknit upper and pale blue accents along the shoe’s midsole plugs and signature stripes.
