The duo of Pharrell and adidas appears to be back and stronger than ever with a full lineup of Human Race NMD’s being revealed earlier this month, the superstar will be releasing a variety of his own adidas Superstar renditions that feature primeknit uppers.
If anyone can take the leather Superstar and swap out the classic material for a knitted makeover, it’s Pharrell. Set to drop a total of six different colors, this Superstar collection removes the leather panelings and adds a full knitted upper. Featuring White, Yellow, Brown, Green, and Purple, the sixth colorway is a mystery as of now as the final edition has yet to surface. Each arrives tonally in their designated colorway, calling for a primeknit upper that featured embroidered Human Race and adidas branding on the tongue and heels. The offerings even take the iconic shell toe upper and apply the same aesthetic with material so the shoe arrives in OG form. Each sneaker is then finalized with matching rubber midsoles and outsoles.
