Pharrell and adidas have been hard at work apparently as we have been seeing many different colorways of their silhouettes appear. The newest to be revealed is the adidas Solar Hu Glide in bright purple.
We have just seen an all over red, white and grey version be revealed and the colors look to just continue. Instead of combining the silhouette with multiple colors in one like the two have done in the past, they have opted to do an all-over look and honestly, they look really nice. This also shows just how much they can do with a Boost midsole. With adding color to it, it really brings a fresh look so it will be interesting to see what else comes out of this.
For this edition, the primeknit upper gets painted in all purple. Different shades of the berry color then are added to add just the right amount of contrast. A darker shade can be found wrapped around the heel and two different lighter shades can be found on the lower portion on the upper as the heel counter and midfoot support clip take on separate shades. White branding is really allowed to pop as an adidas logo can be found on the tongue while “Hu” is embroidered in on the toes. A purple boost midsole and Continental outsole complete the design.

As of now, we do not have a release date or even a timetable for a release but expect to see the Pharrell x adidas Solar Hu Glide Purple release sometime this year at select retailers and adidas.com for $150. UPDATE 7/16/19: Official images have now been loaded and the shoes are scheduled to release as part of the next round of Pharrell x adidas Solar Hu Glide’s on August 31st, 2019 following the tonal colorways this Saturday.
