Pharrell and adidas are coming back strong this year. After taking their time with their last few drops, the Three Stripes and Skateboard P have now announced the release of eight colorways of their Solar Glide Hu, each in a different tonal look.
Pharrell’s first release of his adidas Solar Glide Hu went down almost a year ago, with the drop of the original black, white, and orange colorways. Shortly afterward, the pair teamed up once again to release a special edition Chinese New Year colorway in celebration of the holiday, alongside a litany of other Three Stripes’ footwear. Now, after taking it slow in 2019, adidas and Pharrell have a total of eight shoes dropping in the next two months.
While’ we’ve already taken a close look at the neutral colorways of Pharrell’s adidas Solar Glide Hu that are dropping later this month, it was only today that adidas unveiled official imagery of the second piece of the collaboration. Releasing in August, the next adidas Hu release will paint the Solar Glide in four vibrant and eye-catching color schemes, blue, purple, yellow, and red. Each shoe appears slightly different than the next, thanks to the materials absorbing the dyes in different manners, though ech prominently displays a Hu logo embroidered in the toe box as well as on the outer ankles.
Pharrell William’s latest project with adidas Originals, which offers the Solar Glide Hu in a rainbow of colorways, has been announced for release next month on August 31st, 2019. The follow up to this month’s tonal pack of color schemes, the four new shoes will retail for the same $150 as Pharrell’s previous releases of the same silhouette.
