Official Images of the Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu “Black”

While Pharrell and adidas have gone back to the drawing board with his HU line, it appears they look to be going back to where it all started with a black NMD HU surfacing with the OG styled sole.

Pharrell much like Kanye has a vision like no other. For music, fashion, and shoes, the star has built a legacy in the arts and has rolled out a great lineup of adidas sneakers over the past couple of years. While the Human Race x adidas collection isn’t anything like it used to be, Pharrell and The Three Stripes have shown they are working to find his role with the brand, for example, the new Human Race adidas apparel collection that just launched this last week.

While the HU collection was on top of the sneaker world at one point, it all started trending down when Pharrell gave his NMD a trail outsole. While comfort wasn’t the same as its predecessor, the look did not compare and many sneakerheads gave up on the collection when more and more trail outsoles surfaced. But now with the Trail outsole being used for the past two years, it looks like Pharrell and adidas are set to go back where it all started and place the OG sole in once again.

This edition showcases a black design where black is used throughout the entire primeknit upper. Foreign writing is placed on the forefoot in dark grey fashion while black detailing also graces the lace cage, heel clip, EVA plugs, the coveted Boost midsole, and lastly the black rubber outsole. The new offering is finally completed with a pair of white laces which will also most likely feature other colors fur customization upon release.

PHARRELL ADIDAS NMD HU BLACK RELEASE INFORMATION

As of now, we aren’t exactly sure when this black Pharrell adidas NMD HU will release but expect to see the pair before years end at select adidas retailers and adidas.com.
