The next Pharrell Williams x adidas collaboration is already in development, and it’s quite a spectacle. Paying homage to the continent of Africa, this August will see the release of the Pharrell x adidas Afro Hu NMD collection.
Fresh off of the release of his Hu Holi collection with adidas, Pharrell Williams is not yet finished with culture-inspired shoes. For their next release, the hottest duo in sneakers has set their sights on the traditional imagery and colors of Africa. Coming this August, the new Afro Hu NMD collection celebrates African heritage through shoes. The silhouette will be the same Trail model as the last two releases, though this time with some minor changes. First, the colorways are extremely eccentric. Each upper features a striped black and white base accented by a third, central color. The details around the shoes like the heel tabs, laces, and caging all take on wacky mismatched colors to contrast the main body. The three colorways that will be made available come in red, Hi-Res Aqua, and Light Pink, and thanks to recent information from the YeezyMafia, we now have a release date.

The next addition to Pharrell’s signature line of adidas NMD’s is scheduled to release on August 18th, 2018. The new “Afro Hu” collection celebrating African heritage will cost the standard $250 for Hu NMD’s.
