adidas Spezial has tapped legendary graphic designer Peter Saville for a new project, applying the famous Unknown Pleasures album art to a blacked-out Pulsebeat sneaker.
This Spring, adidas unveiled a new collaboration with Manchester United and graphic designer Peter Saville, playing on the famous Unknown Pleasures album art used by Joy Division. While some of the goods released, others remained in sneaker purgatory, leaving us wanting for the blacked-out Spezial Pulsebeat shown in the editorial press release. Now, the sneaker will finally see a release, via the brand’s Confirmed app tomorrow. The silhouette comes with a black suede upper, with added Three Stripes in reflective materials on the lateral sides. The artist’s Joy Division artwork appears on the tongues to complete the look.
