Parley and adidas have a new signature release coming this year. Featuring the ZX 8000, Parley has given the recycled shoe a makeover in ‘Oxide Green’, coming soon.
Parley’s partnership with adidas began in 2016, using the nonprofit’s recycled textiles made from ocean plastic to craft a wide range of sneakers. Since then, adidas has slowly incorporated the recycled materials into nearly all of their products, but regularly still taps Parley for their own signature releases. This week, the two have unveiled their take on the ZX 8000, constructed with at least 50% recycled materials and cast in a tonal ‘Oxide Green’ look.

Parley’s latest release with adidas has not been given a global release date yet, though early pairs are currently available in select sizes from Australia’s Subtype. The ‘Oxide Green’ colorway of the retro runner comes with a price tag of approximately $170 USD, and will likely launch globally in the coming weeks.
