The adidas Gazelle goes sustainable this month, as a part of an upcoming capsule collection with New York City’s Paradigm publishing company. Dressed in all black with vibrant purple accents, the Paradigm x adidas Gazelle is coming soon.

The term “sustainability” has taken somewhat of a backseat for sneaker brands in recent months, after a massive industry-wide push to reduce waste in the manufacturing processes. While many brands are still up to their old habits, they have also picked up some new ones, like turning their material waste into reusable fabrics and textiles to create new sneakers and clothing. This is the name of the game for the upcoming collaboration between NYC-based publishing house Paradigm and adidas Originals, who are teaming up for a small capsule of sustainably built footwear and apparel. Taking on a vibrant purple-based color palette, the star of this project is adidas’ Gazelle, which comes in all-black recycled leather with purple insoles, outsoles, and branding. The capsule also includes a long sleeve soccer jersey and anorak, both of which also use recycled fibers in their construction.
