The Nike SB Dunk Low “Krampus” Releases Holiday 2025

Nike SB’s holiday-themed Dunk for late 2025 has surfaced this week, giving us an early look at a special-edition pair inspired by the darker side of Christmas. The “Krampus” theme is not new to the SB team, and returns this time as the Dunk Low.

The first Krampus-themed release from Nike SB released back in 2012, as a collaboration with artist Sean Cliver, dressing the Dunk High in an eerie black and red colorway. Now, it appears the SB team is running back the Krampus-inspired look with a new color scheme and different materials, as well as using their signature low-top Dunk as the canvas. Krampus is a folklore from Central Europe that acts as the anti-Santa, punishing naughty children in early December, and appears as a half-goat, half-demon creature.

The upcoming new “Krampus” edition of the SB Dunk Low brings some interesting material changes to the iconic shoe. The upper is crafted from a cracked leather material that features a Campfire Orange underlay covered in black, giving it the appearance of a burning coal. The tongue features a woven textile, with red Nike branding at the top. The insoles add some more Krampus details, including a sketched rendition of the creature on the right footbed. Finally, the inner tongues feature a “Not surprised” take stitched in an orange Euro-Gothic font to complete the look.

Asics’ Earth-Toned GEL-1130 “Camper Pack” Arrives for Fall 2025

0

Asics’ GEL-1130 remains one of the most popular models in their SportStyle catalog, a retro model from 2008 revived a few years ago. This month, the Japanese brand has a new “Camper” pack on the way, dressing the shoe in green & brown color schemes.

The ASICS Gel-1130 first dropped in 2008 as part of the GEL-1000 series, offered as a more affordable stability running shoe compared to premium models like the Gel-Kayano. Its design pulls visual cues from the Kayano 14, using mesh and synthetic leather overlays and incorporating ASICS’s GEL cushioning in the heel plus a Trusstic support piece in the midfoot for stability. After a quiet period, it saw a revival in 2021, tapping into the retro runner craze with lifestyle-friendly colorways and some exciting collaborations. The new string of releases has catapulted the shoe into one of the brand’s most popular SportStyle silhouettes.

The next release of the GEL-1130 from Asics brings a palette of earthy tones to the sneaker for a new Fall-ready “Camper Pack”. The two looks seem to take inspiration from camping in the forest, presenting the shoe in shades of green for the trees and another in brown for the forest floor. The former pair comes in an “Olive Canvas” shade as its base, making up the mesh underlay, and adding suede overlays in Smog Green and black with a light grey panel near the toes. The second look comes in Dark Brown shades, paired with a Midnight black accent.

The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Arrives in Crisp “Photon Dust” For Fall 2025

0

Nike’s latest retro of the Air Zoom Spiridon finally landed early this year, remastering the shoe and dropping in its OG “Sport Red” color. Now, a string of new styles have started to emerge for Fall 2025, including this clean “Photon Dust” palette.

The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon first released in 1997, showcasing one of Nike’s earliest uses of full-foot Zoom Air cushioning. Named after Spyridon Louis, the first Olympic marathon champion in 1896, the shoe emphasized speed, breathability, and lightweight performance with its mesh upper, Phylon midsole, and Duralon forefoot. Though it didn’t achieve mainstream dominance, the Spiridon became a cult favorite among sneaker collectors. Over the years, Nike has revived the model with retros and OG colorways to feed the silhouette’s newfound cult following.

This year marked another return of the OG Spiridon, and the Swoosh has released a few new colors to fill out their catalog, including an excellent pack from Undefeated. This week, some simple new styles for Fall 2025 have emerged, coming soon. Our pick from the new colorways is this “Photon Dust” edition. The look features a crisp white mesh for the base of the upper, adding a canvas mudguard around the shoe’s perimeter. The Spiridon’s signature piping around each panel dons an Obsidian navy blue hue, while Swoosh details come in Fir green.

Nike’s next release of their remastered Air Zoom Spiridon has not been set for release yet, but is expected to land in Fall 2025. The new style incorporates a Obsidian navy blue and Fir green accents over a crisp Photon Dust white base. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $170.

Costco & Nike SB Apparently Have a Kirkland Signature Dunk Low on the Way

Now this is a weird one. This week, a new SB Dunk Low collaboration has crossed our feeds, but it’s a fairly unusual partner for the Nike sub brand. Teaming up with Costco’s Kirkland Signature, the dunk comes decked out in heather grey fleece.

Nike SB releases many pairs of sneakers each year, largely focused on their take on the Dunk Low. The SB team is particularly adept at storytelling in their special releases, rolling out excellent in-house styles as well as a huge range of collaborations. When you think of Nike SB collaborations, the first projects that come to mind are usually pairs designed in partnership with skaters, retailers, or pop culture icons. Definitely not big box retailers. The latest project to surface from the SB division is just that, a collab with Costco and their Kirkland Signature line of goods.

The Kirkland Signature version of the SB Dunk Low outfits the shoe in their finest textile, the signature heather grey fleece found in hoodies and sweatpants. The unique choice for a sneaker is perfect timing for its rumored holiday release, when a warm and cozy shoe is the perfect addition to a seasonal footwear lineup. The shoe packs plenty of details into its otherwise simple appearance. The Kirkland label appears on the outer heel of each shoe, while the tongue’s inner label is made to mimic Costco’s pricing signs. Insoles are printed with a full-length Kirkland logo, and the ‘signature’ red work mark appears on the Nike Air logos.

KIRKLAND SIGNATURE X NIKE SB DUNK LOW RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest leaked style of the SB Dunk Low from Nike and Costco will reportedly release to the public this year, during the holiday season. The model comes in the Kirkland Signature classic grey fleece, covering the entirety of the shoe in the heather textile, and complete with a Kirkland label on the heels. Pairs will likely be available through skate shops and SNKRS, but a release at Costco stores wouldn’t surprise us. They will cost $135.

The Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo” Returns in 2026

Jordan Brand has started to reissue fan-favorite models over the last few years, giving us a second chance at some iconic releases. This week, the Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo” is the subject of new leaks, suggesting a Spring 2026 return.

Jordan Brand is cashing in on a pile of nostalgia over the next year, reissuing a ton of fan-favorite releases from past years. The upcoming rereleases range from decades old limited-edition pairs to regional exclusives, and even some more recent pairs from the past ten years. Some of the heavy hitters are arriving within the next few months, including Undefeated’s legendary Air Jordan 4 and the Shattered Backboard AJ1. Other future releases include the “Tokyo” AJ5, and now, a 2013 Air Jordan 4 is rumored for Spring 2026.

The latest retro Air Jordan 4 colorway rumored to return is the 2013 “Toro Bravo” edition. The bold color scheme, which borrows its palette from the iconic Chicago styles, was hard to miss that year, as its eye-catching look applied to a beloved model quickly made it a fan favorite. The model comes dressed in a striking Fire Red nubuck for the upper, adding black accents for the TPU pieces and a pale grey shade for the inner linings and tongue tags.

No, This is Patrick (Star’s Official adidas Superstar Collaboration)

Spongebob Squarepants and friends have found a new brand for sneaker collaborations this year in adidas. This week, we have our first official look at the project, featuring a special-edition colorway of the Superstar inspired by Patrick Star.

Spongebob Squarepants is no stranger to brand collaborations. The children’s TV icon has appeared across a huge range of products over its twenty-six year run. With the huge rise in popularity of sneakers over the last decade, plenty of official Spongebob shoes have hit the market (Our favorite remains the meme-ified knock off Jordan Dub Zeros. You know the one.) Last year, Mr. Squarepants and Patrick appeared on a set of Crocs Clogs, and before that, they had an entire collection of bob-themed Nike Kyrie 5s. Now, adidas has teamed up with the Nickelodeon show for a new collection.

The collaboration between adidas and Spongebob Squarepants has emerged in the first official imagery today, showing off a pair of Superstars in a Patrick Star colorway. The shoe features a soft pink suede across the upper, adding black stripes with more pink for the trim. The classic Superstar tongue logo now features Patrick’s face, a la the Stan Smith. Co-branded insoles sit inside both shoes, while the iconic Bikini Bottom backdrop is used for the shoe’s blue outsoles. Finally, a second [pair of laces using Pat Star’s green and purple patterned shorts completes this special release.

Nike’s KD 4 “Longhorns” Retro Now Expected in October 2025

UPDATE 8/28/25: The release date for the “Longhorns” Nike KD4 is currently expected to be October 24th, 2025, though Nike has not officially confirmed this date yet.

Yesterday Nike hosted their latest SNKRS Showcase livestream, this time previewing a wide range of upcoming releases from their Basketball division. Among the styles shown was our first look at the KD4 “Longhorns” retro, coming holiday 2025.

Nike’s signature sneaker line for Kevin Durant first launched in 2008, kicking off a franchise that is still going strong to this day, now on its eighteenth iteration. One of the most beloved styles from the line is the KD4, which began dropping in retro formats back in 2018, for KD’s tenth anniversary with Nike. Since then, the Swoosh has regularly reissued select styles of the KD4 for special occasions. This week’s SNKRS Showcase livestream, focused on basketball, unveiled a ton of upcoming KD releases, including a retro of a fan-favorite 4 colorway.

Kevin Durant played college ball for the University of Texas Longhorns, and has used his signature sneaker line with Nike to release special pairs honoring the school and their iconic shade of orange. During the livestream special yesterday, host Brandon Jenkins showed off our first look at the “Longhorns” edition KD4 retro, coming later this year. Originally released in 2012, the 2025 version recreates the original’s near-tonal orange build, down to the glossy finish and oversized strap. White accents make up the Nike branding and midsoles.

The Air Jordan 3 Retro “El Vuelo” is Now Available

Jordan Brand is leaning into special releases celebrating parts of Mexican culture. This Fall, they are releasing a special pair of the Air Jordan 3, inspired by lucha libre luchadores taking flight from the ropes. Check out the “El Vuelo” style, coming soon.

Last year, Jordan Brand issued a special release of the Air Jordan 5, honoring Mexico’s war of independence. The “El Grito” release celebrated the country’s push for freedom, through its unique colors and the patterns inspired directly by centuries of Mexican culture. This year, Jordan Brand has another release that takes inspiration from a more modern aspect of the nation’s traditions, lucha libre wrestling. Dubbed “El Vuelo”, meaning The Flight, the special release connects the dots between luchadores taking flight over the arena ropes and Michael Jordan’s many trips through the air on the way to the basket.

Jordan Brand has packed a lot of details into the “El Vuelo” edition Air Jordan 3. The shoe’s colors are just the start. This pair features a crisp white leather base, adding snakeskin textured panels to the toes, heels, and collar portions. The midfoot sections add a new panel with jagged, teeth-like edges in white. The toe and lower heel sections come in Dragon Red, with a dash of lush green around the collars. Gold accents adorn the tongues and heel branding, while embroidery on the inner tongue states “más vale maña que fuerza”, roughly translating to “brains beats brawn”.

AIR JORDAN 3 OG “EL VUELO” RELEASE INFORMATION

The upcoming release from Jordan Brand celebrating lucha libre culture in Mexico is currently speculated to release on September 16th, 2025. The “El Vuelo” edition Air Jordan 3 features a white leather build with red and green accents in various textured materials. Pairs will likely be available through both Nike SNKRS and select retailers, priced at $210.

0

Swedish retailer SneakerNStuff has always caught our attention with their collaborations. This week, the store unveiled their next entry in the adidas GT II series, the model’s 6th Edition. Dressed in purple and yellow, pairs release to the public next week.

The SNS GT II is a collaborative trainer line from Sneakersnstuff and adidas Originals, launched around 2024-25. It fuses terrace-inspired heritage silhouettes, mixing tooling from the adidas Handball Spezial and the Malmö, with updated materials like nylon, mesh, suede overlays, leather linings, and Cordura. The design draws heavy inspiration from Stockholm’s ’90s rave/club culture, featuring bold color palettes, premium accents, gum soles, and co-branding. Each “edition” introduces a fresh colorway and slight design tweaks but keeps core heritage DNA alive.

Following their last edition of the GT II in June, SNS has unveiled the 6th Edition style, releasing later this month. This new pair marks the third release of the silhouette so far in 2025, and as fans of the model we are happy to see it. The new color scheme is an ode to the flyers and posters that epitomized Stockholm’s rave scene in the 1990s. The silhouette gets a colorful upgrade, sporting two pastel shades of purple for this pair’s mesh base and suede overlays. Stripes and heel counters come in a neon yellow shade, while adidas’ signature blue branding stands out on the tongues.

The Nike Ava Rover Gets an “Earth” Makeover for Fall 2025

0

Nike launched the Ava Rover, an urban runner-style model over the Summer. We got the chance to review the shoe, and loved it. This week, we have an official look at a new “Earth” brown style, coming soon.

The Nike Ava Rover is a new lifestyle-sportswear sneaker launched in mid-2025, engineered especially for urban environments. It introduces ReactX foam cushioning, taken from Nike’s performance running line, into a lifestyle shoe for the first time. The new foam, an evolution of the React material introduced in 2017, provides superior energy return and all-day comfort. A lightweight woven upper with flow-molded TPU overlays adds structure, while a reductive rubber outsole handles wet or rough pavement with traction.

The Ava Rover made its debut with five different colorways available over the Summer, and recently we’ve had early looks at a number of new styles for the Fall 2025 season. This week, official images of an “Earth” brown pair have emerged, slated for an October release. The dark brown tone with some red tinge to it makes up all of the textile sections of the silhouette, down to the stitching. The rest of the shoe comes in black, including the small embroidered Swoosh along the forefoot.

Check out our review of the Ava Rover for a summary of the new silhouette’s performance.

0

Crocs has been on fire with their new silhouettes this year. Today, one of the brand collaborations & special projects designers unveiled a new model for their EXP line, the Gallery Shoe, making its debut this month in “Black Sand” and “Bark” styles.

Crocs has changed dramatically over the last few years, leaning into sneakerheads’ newfound love of comfort footwear, and leveraging that into an exploration of new styles and silhouettes. The brand has continued to use their Classic Clog as a platform for collaborations with high-profile IPs like Marvel, Pokémon, and more. For the more fashion-minded consumer, they’ve overhauled their offerings, bringing in partners like Salehe Bembury and Steven Smith to design brand new models. This year, the introduced EXP, a product line devoted to exploring bold and unique new styles with a focus on utility, style, and functionality.

This week, Crocs collaborations & special projects designer Ryan Forsyth unveiled the next new model for the EXP line, the Gallery Shoe. The new silhouette references the Tideline Sport from 2012, which paired a loafer-style upper with a rugged rubber sole. The Gallery Shoe takes that a step further, blending a Wallabee-style suede moccasin with a hefty, trail ready sole unit. The sole features extended sections around the toes and heels for added support, and ocme in a thick layer of rubber to protect the less durable suede underneath. Two colorways are primed for the shoe’s launch this month, a dark “Black Sand” and a lighter “Bark” tan shade.

Crocs has scheduled the debut of their new EXP Gallery Shoe to arrive this month, on September 30th, 2025. Dressed in two colorways for its debut, Black Sand and Bark, pairs will be available as an exclusive drop for Crocs App. Combining moccasins with trail shoes, the new model will come with a price tag of $100.
