Bad Bunny has built up an impressive arsenal of signature sneakers with adidas over the last few years. This season, he is adding another to the list, adding his signature flair to the SL72 runner, coming soon.
Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny made waves back in 2021 when his team-up with adidas was first announced. The massively popular musician is a natural pick for a sneaker collab with global appeal, and adidas has given him the reigns to redesign a number of their classic models over the last few years, developing his own signature look along the way. This week, we have an early look at the next silhouette to get the BB treatment; the SL72 runner.
adidas’ SL72 originally launched back in 1972, as a brand new silhouette for the Munich Olympics. The shoe has made a strong return in recent years, used as a canvas for a number of collaborative projects including with Wales Bonner and Sporty & Rich. Now Bad Bunny is set to drop his version of the shoe, first seen this weekend on the feet of Noah Lyles. Details are hard to see in the photos so far, but the shoe feature an all-white color scheme with a mix of nylon, mesh, and suede layers for a simple new style.
