Nike Book 1 Mowabb Releasing March 2025

Devin Booker, known for his impeccable style, has unveiled the exclusive Nike Book 1 “Mowabb PE.” This shoe reimagines Tinker Hatfield’s iconic 1991 ACG Air Mowabb “Twine” with a modern basketball aesthetic. It debuted during a game against the Milwaukee Bucks, immediately capturing attention with its design and storytelling.

A Design Rooted in Heritage

The Nike Book 1 “Mowabb” features a vibrant mix of “Twine,” “Teal,” and “Club Gold,” reminiscent of the original Air Mowabb. A bold black Swoosh on the golden yellow upper creates a striking contrast, while orange “Air Book” pull tabs and a speckled grey midsole with subtle orange accents add unique details. These elements combine outdoor inspiration with court-ready performance.

Devin Booker’s Signature Style

This special edition extends Booker’s influence on basketball culture. Each detail, from the color palette to branding, reflects his dedication to merging athletic performance with personal flair. The outdoorsy inspiration aligns with previous Nike Book 1 releases, like the “Rattlesnake” and “Hike” colorways, ensuring a cohesive narrative across the line.

A Nod to Tinker Hatfield’s Legacy

Booker’s tribute to Tinker Hatfield highlights the enduring impact of the Air Mowabb on sneaker culture. The reimagined design bridges the gap between past and present, creating a shoe that resonates with both collectors and athletes.

CLOT x adidas Superstar “CNY” Releases in January

CLOT and adidas are gearing up for another release early in 2025, but this time they are celebrating Chinese New Year. Featuring their take on the Superstar, the blacked-out pair is expected to release in January.

Edison Chen’s CLOT label has had a prolific year with adidas, releasing nearly a dozen project in their year as partners. The projects thus far have had an emphasis on altering classic Three Stripes models in unique ways, usually reworking them with dress shoe elements, or with the Gazelle, adding a full leather sole and woven upper. One of their frequent releases has been the Superstar, which returns early next year in a special-edition style.

CLOT is bringing back their first take on the adidas Superstar in January, which originally debuted late in 2023 with elements borrowed from men’s formal shoes. This time around, the model is being used for a “Chinese New Year”-themed release, retaining all of their added features but dressing it in a uniform shade of black. The upper comes in a silk textile with a jacquard pattern, while gold branding and a red tongue tassel complete the look.

CLOT X ADIDAS SUPERSTAR “CNY” RELEASE INFORMATION

CLOT and adidas have not officially announced their upcoming “CNY” edition of the Superstar, but it is expected to release on January 16th, 2025. Dressed in patterned silk textiles with gold accents, pairs will be available from adidas and select retailers for $200.

Bad Bunny x adidas Gazelle “Crew Yellow” Coming in 2025

Bad Bunny and adidas are adding new styles and silhouettes to their already extensive collaboration in 2025. This week, a new pair of their Gazelle project has surfaced, dressed in a “Crew Yellow” color scheme.

Bad Bunny’s ongoing partnership with adidas has been one of the best team-ups in sneakers over the past few years. Their first releases featuring the Forum Low came in 2021, and was quickly followed up with the Response CL a year later. The Campus was the next shoe in line, and easily the most popular model yet, followed by the debut of the Gazelle Indoor in 2024, another immensely popular take on a classic shoe. Just this month they introduced the Bad Bunny SL72, but now it appears they still have some Gazelle releases in the chamber for 2025.

This week brings us an early look at one of the new Gazelle releases coming from Bad Bunny and adidas in 2025. Dressed in a vivid “Crew Yellow” shade, the shoe’s suede and leather upper is cast in the sulphuric shade, paired with black stripes, white laces, and hiding olive green tongues underneath.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and sneaker brands are lining up their releases for the holiday. This year, adidas is rolling out a special pair of their classic Ultra Boost 1.0, with hearts knit right into the shoe’s upper.

The beginning of each year is a hot bed of sneaker releases for special occasions. In January, brands celebrate Lunar New Year, rolling out sneakers themed around traditional aspects of Asian culture, or that year’s Zodiac animal. February follows up with two in a row, Valentine’s Day release and the NBA All-Star Weekend, typically falling in the same week. Today, we have an early look at one of adidas’ new additions to their V-Day lineup.

The Ultra Boost 1.0 is turning ten years old in 2025, and naturally, the Three Stripes are including plenty of new releases at every turn to celebrate the occasion. This week, we have an early look at the Valentine’s Day edition, which adds some unique details to the iconic runner. The shoe’s PrimeKnit upper comes in white and red, with bright red hearts knit into the shoe’s toe box. Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Black Lightning” Releases in 2025

Nike Kobe 6 Protro Black Lightning HV0189-001

Nike has been hard at work revamping their Kobe lineup after working out a new contract with his widow, Vanessa Bryant, back in 2022. This year, they are adding a new “Black Lightning” Kobe 6 Proto to their Fall slate.

Nike’s Kobe lineup has grown considerably over the last year, as they continue to push new and classic colorways of some of our favorite models in their Protro format. The earlier Kobe silhouettes have been the main focus, with a large emphasis on the 6 in the last few months. More and more new styles of the performance retro continue to pop up, with a new “Black Lightning” edition surfacing today.

The latest pair of the Kobe 6 Protro to emerge is only known on paper at the moment, as no pairs have found their way to leakers or retailers yet. Dubbed “Black Lightning”, the look is expected to feature a largely black base, with accent colors in Lightning and University Gold yellow, as well as a hint of Volt green.

NIKE KOBE 6 PROTRO “BLACK LIGHTNING” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest addition to their Kobe lineup for 2025 does not have a set release date yet, but is expected to arrive sometime this Fall. The “Black Lightning” addition is only seen in speculative mockups so far, but will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers for its usual $200 price tag.

The adidas PowerPhase “Alumina” Releases Today

0

The adidas PowerPhase has been somewhat of an enigma for the last few years. This week, an early look at a new style has surfaced, refreshing the simple trainer in a suede build and grey colorway for Spring 2025.

The adidas Powerphase was originally introduced in 1987, at the height of aerobics classes and all-purpose training sneakers from the Three Stripes and Reebok. The model faded into obscurity quickly afterward, but was revived thirty years later in partnership with Kanye West under the Yeezy label. The Yeezy team released a small assortment of colors before returning it to the vault, not to be seen again until Bad Bunny released a single style of the shoe in 2022.

Now, the Powerphase is coming back, this time as a standalone, in-line adidas model. The Calabasas branding of the Yeezy line has been removed, and the first style to surface features an all-suede build, save for leather heel countes. This edition comes in a soft “Grey Two” shade for the entire upper, and is outfitted with an Off-White cupsole unit to complete the look.

ADIDAS POWERPHASE “ALUMINA” RELEASE INFORMATION

adidas’ latest iteration of the retro PowerPhase trainer releases today, January 9th, 2025, at 10am PST. Seen here in a simple “Alumina” grey color scheme, pairs will be available from both adidas and select retailers for $110.

Nike’s Field General ’82 Gets a “Dalmatian” Look for 2025

Nike returned the Field General to their catalog last year, in its original 1982 form. The model has continued to be a boon in their arsenal as a sleek, fashionable, and affordable model. New release will continue in 2025, with this “Dalmatian” version coming soon.

The Field General was an interesting addition to Nike’s arsenal when they issued the first retro colorways last year. Originally released as a performance silhouette for quarterbacks in 1982, the model has gone on to inspired plenty of newer models, most notably Tom Sachs’ GPS sneaker from a few years back. Now, with a handful of standard colors already available, new styles have emerged for 2025.

This week brings us some official imagery of a new premium format for the retro Field General. The new pair is elevated through its materials, mixing a leather base with faux pony hair outer layers. Most of the shoe comes in white, while the pony pieces sport black Dalmatian-inspired spots to complete the look.

NIKE FIELD GENERAL ’82 “DALMATIAN” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s next release of the retro Field General 82 has not been officially scheduled for release yet, but is expected to land on shelves sometime in Spring 2025. The white model with black “Dalmatian” spots will be releasing from both Nike’s SNKRS app and select retailers for $110.
