The Nike Ava Rover Appears in “Celestial Gold” Ahead of the Model’s Debut

0

Nike is introducing a new silhouette this month, the Ava Rover. Designed for everyday wear, the fresh model arrives in three colors for its debut. However, we already have early looks at several following colors, including this “Celestial Gold” rendition.

Each year, Nike brings us a range of new silhouettes across a variety of categories. The Swoosh’s history of innovation drives this push for new and exciting sneakers, as well as the the search for the net “it” shoe. They’ve had some successful models in recent years like the Element series, and they appear to be chasing that same high with their latest; the Ava Rover. Featuring a chunky ReactX foam sole unit and some unique crinkly nylon materials, the shoe is finally making its debut this month.

Nike has lined up a small assortment of colorways for the Ava Rover’s launch, coming soon on July 25th. The debut lineup includes a “Cosmic Clay” edition as well as a Black/Muslin pair, but already we’ve seen a number of styles that will fill out the rest of the 2025 slate. This week, another pair has been added to the list, dressed in a tonal “Celestial Gold” build. This pair sports slightly different shades of the flat gold color across its various materials, adding just a flash of crimson red for the Swooshes and heel pull tabs.

Aimé Leon Dore’s resume of New Balance releases in the past five years is nearly unmatched in the world of sneakers. The two brand originally linked up in 2020, and have released multiple projects each year since, often doubling up in the same season. This Spring, ALD even released their first exclusive silhouette from the Boston footwear brand, the RC56 trainer, among several other projects in 2025 that have already hit shelves.

This week, in their new Summer 2025 lookbook, ALD teased another upcoming NB project, returning once again to the 860v2 runner. They have already released two batches of colors for the model, in 2023 and 2024, making this their third Summer release of the model. This time around, at least two colorways are on the docket, and give us some very contrasting options. First up, one pair is colored almost entirely in a hot pink shade, adding some metallic silver accents and a white midsole. The second pair is darker, featuring a black upper with metallic copper branding, and two-tone neon green and forest green midsoles.

Kith’s New Balance 204L Collection Releases This Week

0

Last week, we had an early look at an upcoming fresh model from New Balance, the 204L. Now, a second pair of the sleek silhouette has surfaced, this time sporting Kith branding and a clean green color scheme.

The older running aesthetic exploded in 2020, and New Balance was right there to meet our expectations with an incredible series of retros and all-new styles. This week, they’ve captured another wave of fashion with the 204L, a super-slim model with an upper reminiscent of their ’90s and ’00s running product, but with a thin sole unit underneath, meeting the current trends in high fashion.

Like many of their other new model introductions, New Balance has tapped Kith to lend their aesthetic choices to the 204L. Just one week after the silhouette first appeared in a light brown color scheme, the Kith pair has emerged, bringing some color to the fresh style. Their version features a shiny grey mesh underlay, adding a mix of leather and suede on top in two shades of green, mint for the leather pieces and forest green for the suedes. Grey toe caps and two lace styles complete the look.

Available Now: The adidas Crazy 2 OG “All-Star” Returns in 2025

0

Kobe Bryant famously started his sneaker journey with adidas in 2000, before jumping ship to Nike. This year, the Three Stripes is celebrating his legacy with a retro release of the Crazy 2 “All-Star”, the second and final shoe from the Kobe line.

Before Kobe Bryant and Nike started on their now-legendary run of signature sneakers, the Mamba signed his first sneaker deal with adidas. The two released Bryant’s first model in 2000, before following up with the Kobe 2 in 2001. Unfortunately, Kobe was reportedly unhappy with the direction his sneaker line was headed in, and left the Three Stripes before his third model ever released to the public. After his departure, adidas renamed the line to Crazy, and continued to iterate on the product line to this day with new models.

This year, adidas is set to release Kobe’s second and final sneaker with the Three Stripes, the Crazy 2. Inspired by Kobe’s favorite car at the time, the Audi TT, the model is a chunky yet sleek and aerodynamic model with no visible lacing and a tough outer shell. One of the first colorways to get a retro this year will be the “All-Star” look, which comes in a lakers theme of white, yellow, and purple. The model was shown off at an adidas event in San Francisco for the All-Star Game this past weekend, though it is currently unclear if they were selling pairs to the public.

ADIDAS CRAZY 2 OG “ALL-STAR” RELEASE INFORMATION

adidas’ next retro from the original Kobe line, the Crazy 2, has not been announced for release yet, but is expected sometime in Spring 2025. The retro release will kick off with the “All-Star” colorway, followed by new and old styles, which will be available from both adidas and select retailers for $160.

Salehe Bembury’s Crocs Juniper “Realtree” Releases in July 2025

Salehe Bembury is expected to debut his latest silhouette with Crocs this month, the Juniper. Now, a second colorway of the new model has emerged, featuring a Realtree camo print across the upper.

Crocs has given Salehe Bembury the reigns to create seemingly anything he wants. Their relationship started back in 2021, when the two released their first pair of the Pollex clog, the inaugural release of Bembury’s fingerprint design to create a wavy look for the classic Croc silhouette. This year, they are doubling their output, debuting two new styles in the Saru Mule and the Juniper, the latter of which is set to arrive this month in a “Guava” color scheme. Today, a second pair has emerged, ditching the monotone upper for a printed “Realtree” camo edition. The camouflage pattern is paired with grey accents, a dark green inner mesh bootie, and a gum toned midsole to complete the look.

SALEHE BEMBURY X CROCS JUNIPER “REALTREE” RELEASE INFORMATION

Salehe Bembury’s next colorway of the new Crocs Juniper silhouette has not been announced for release, but is expected to arrive later in 2024, likely in late Summer. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG Sets Sail in Summer 2026

Air Jordan 1 Low OG Sail

The Jordan release calendar for next year is, as usual, full of incredible releases. This week, another leak has added yet another sneaker to our watch list, revisiting the triple-white “Sail” Air Jordan 1 for a Summer-ready low-top release.

Jordan Brand has a penchant for running back the classics, which they have taken to an extreme degree this year with some of their retro choices. Icons both new and old are making grand returns this year, like the “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1 High, as well as exclusive product like the elusive Undefeated AJ4 getting a wide release later this Summer. These retros revisiting older fan-favorites will continue into 2026, though JB has seemingly chosen some less hyped styles to include in their next batch.

Back in 2017, Jordan Brand released a “Premium Essentials” edition of their Air Jordan 1 High OG. The premise was simple, deliver a high quality version of the iconic sneaker in a simple color scheme. The pair in question came in soft-touch tumbled leather and a triple-white color scheme, adding red Nike Air tags to complete the look. Now, thanks to a new leak from zSneakerheadz and SneakerFiles, Jordan appears to be revisiting this style in 2026. The new pair will be the shoe’s low-top iteration, but is expected to also feature an all-white build with a flash of red.

AIR JORDAN 1 LOW OG “SAIL” RELEASE INFORMATION

Joining the growing list of Jordan styles for next year, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG in a tonal “Sail” white colorway will release in Summer 2026. The pair is a low-top version of the all-white AJ1 High from 2017, and will be available through both Nike and select retailers for an updated retail price of $145.

The Air Jordan 3 Celebrates the World’s Best Dad in Summer 2026

Air Jordan 3 Worlds Best Dad IF4396-103

Jordan Brand’s lineup of sneakers for 2026 leaked steadily over the past few weeks, with more new styles popping up every day. This week, a “World’s Best Dad” edition of the Air Jordan 3 surfaced, arriving next Summer.

Michael Jordan’s father played a strong role in the NBA star’s life, helping to shape Mike’s character and career into the legend we know him as today. MJ frequently referred to his father, James Jordan, as his rock, citing their profound and close relationship as one of the largest influences in his life. When his father tragically passed just weeks after winning the 1993 NBA championship with the Bulls, Mike retired for the first time while he recuperated.

Now a father to five of his own children, fatherhood has become an important theme in MJ’s life, and Jordan Brand is taking inspiration from that for a new release of the Air Jordan 3. Releasing next year, likely ahead of Father’s Day in June, the “World’s Best Dad” style brings a subtle and stylish palette to the iconic sneaker. Based in Sail white, the new look will sport accents in red, adding shades of Ivory and Palomino brown. No images of the shoes are here yet, but zSneakerheadz has shared a mockup of what the new colorway could look like.

Nike SB’s Dunk Low PRM in “Sequoia” Releases July 2025

Nike SB’s take on the iconic Dunk is always one of the most sought-after versions of the shoe, thanks to its unique plush tongue and enhanced comfort. This week, a special “Sequoia” pair of their premium edition has joined their Spring 2025 release date.

The SB division from Nike has been releasing their own version of the Dunk since 2002. The modified basketball shoe was originally adapted after skaters gave the Swoosh feedback on their low-top basketball model, and added some extra comfort and cushioning features to improve the silhouette’s boardfeel and responsiveness. Recently, we’ve had early looks at some upcoming colors of the SB Dunk PRM, like their “Parachute Beige” pair releasing early in 2025. Now, a second Spring style has surfaced, following the same color blocking and cast in a “Sequoia” color scheme. The new look features a dark olive shade across its soft leather upper, adding a lighter shade of green for the mesh collars and tongues. This tone is repeated for the inner linings and midsoles, with a gum outsole to finish the look.

Where to Buy the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Total Orange”

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Total Orange” is set to make waves in the sneaker world with its striking colorway and possible deep-rooted connections to Kobe Bryant’s enduring legacy. This upcoming release builds on the momentum of Nike’s Protro line, which continues to honor the late basketball legend’s influence both on and off the court.

A Fiery Colorway with Potential Meaning

Nike has confirmed that the Kobe 6 Protro “Total Orange” will feature a vivid blend of Total Orange, Metallic Silver, and Cosmic Clay. This bold color scheme has led many to speculate about its inspiration. Some sources link it to the WNBA, a league that Kobe Bryant strongly supported, while others associate it with a heartfelt moment between Kobe and his daughter, Gigi Bryant.

In previous releases, Nike has used colorways to pay tribute to significant milestones in Kobe’s career and personal life. For instance, the Kobe 4 “Girl Dad” was inspired by a viral photo of Kobe and Gigi, symbolizing his love for fatherhood. If the “Total Orange” edition indeed connects to that legacy, it could serve as another powerful tribute to the Bryant family’s lasting impact on basketball.

A Legacy of Excellence in the Kobe 6 Line

The Kobe 6 Protro has remained one of the most sought-after models in the Protro series, thanks to its performance-driven updates and nostalgic appeal. The line has delivered iconic releases like the “Reverse Grinch” (2023) and the “Italian Camo” (2024), both of which gained massive popularity among sneaker enthusiasts. With the “Total Orange” colorway, Nike aims to continue this trend by offering fans another must-have addition to the Kobe legacy.

The sneaker’s Protro (Performance Retro) enhancements make it a standout on the court. Expect updated materials, improved cushioning, and superior grip—features that align with Kobe’s demand for high-performance footwear. Whether you’re a hooper or a collector, the Kobe 6 Protro “Total Orange” promises both style and substance.

Release Date, Price & Where to Buy

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Total Orange” is set to release in the Fall of 2025, with a retail price of $200. Sneakerheads can grab a pair via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.

With its electrifying colorway and potential WNBA-inspired storytelling, this release is poised to be one of the most significant Kobe drops of the year. Whether it’s a tribute to his love for the game, his daughter, or his influence on women’s basketball, one thing is clear—Kobe’s legacy continues to shine.

Jordan is Reportedly Reworking the Air Jordan 15 Into a New 23RE Version

0
Air Jordan 15 23RE IO7001-XXX

The Air Jordan 15 is one of the most divisive models ever produced for Michael Jordan. The shoe’s incredibly unique design is either loved or hated, but next year Jordan Brand is delivering a reworked version, removing the controversial tongue piece for the new 23RE edition.

1999 was a chaotic time for Jordan Brand. Fresh off a second three-peat of NBA Championships with the Bulls, MJ retired for the second time that decade, this time seemingly for good as he did not attempt to return to minor league baseball. In the same year, Jordan Brand released their Air Jordan 15, a major milestone in the history of signature basketball shoes, but ultimately one that fell flat with consumers. This came just two years after Nike and Jordan Brand had officially separated into two entities, with the latter being free to operate 100% independently.

The Air Jordan 15 was one of the last mainline Jordan models to be designed by Tinker Hatfield, one of the most renowned designers in the history of footwear. The shoe featured an incredibly unique tongue piece that stuck out toward the toe of the shoe, and was inspired by the X-15 supersonic jet. After the release of the silhouette, Hatfield would step away from the Jordan line for several years. The AJ15 has rarely appeared since its debut, with the latest retro releases coming from collaborations with the Kubo movie in 2016 and Billie Eilish in 2021.

This week, a leak from zSneakerheadz indicates that Jordan Brand will release a new version of the Air Jordan 15 in 2026, dubbed the 23RE. Shown only in a mockup, the new pair will remove the controversial tongue piece, in favor of a form-fitting inner bootie with a high-cut collar. Other original details from the model will return, like the woven Kevlar aramid fiber upper, and the midsole with an exaggerated rubberized heel. The new revised silhouette is expected to debut in a simple black & muslin color scheme.

AIR JORDAN 15 23RE “BLACK MUSLIN” RELEASE INFORMATION

The reworked version of the hugely divisive Air Jordan 15 is currently expected to make its debut sometime in Summer 2026. Removing the pointed tongue in favor or a form-fitting high-cut shroud piece, the new look will launch in a black & muslin color combination, likely in limited supply to test out the new style. No pricing information is available for this shoe yet.
