London’s Offspring and adidas are back with another exciting project this month, following up on the passport-themed “London 2 LA” ZX 9000 from 2019. This time around, the same theme is applied to the ZX 420, now with some extra D.I.Y. elements added.
Offspring latest entry in the ongoing “London 2 LA” series once again refreshes a vintage adidas ZX silhouette in a fresh, eye-catching color way utilizing a handful of materials and unique tones to capture that limited-edition look. Following up on the “Passport” ZX 9000 from 2019, this time the two are focusing on the ZX 420, a nearly forgotten member of the family that is slowly making a comeback this year. For their latest release, Offspring covered the 420 in a slew of pastel tones across a mixture of canvas and corduroy panels. Some of the visible shades include orange, green, blue, and pink, while the shoe’s prominent overlays along the mudguard and quarter are left in a natural-toned canvas, giving the consumer the chance to add a few shades of their own choosing.

The latest collaboration between London’s Offspring and adidas Originals, featuring the ZX 420, is scheduled to release tomorrow, August 7th, 2021. The colorful take on the vintage ZX model will be available exclusively from the British retailer, with a price tag likely in the $150+ range.
