OAMC and adidas’ collaborative partnership first came to fruition last year, with the release of their initial footwear & apparel capsule collection. Now, the two return later this year with brand new offerings of their unique footwear.

The partnership between Parisian fashion label OAMC and adidas kicked off midway through 2019, as the two introduced a wave of exciting new silhouettes, largely based on some of adidas’ most popular classics. Since then we’ve seen snippets and teases of upcoming projects, but nothing definitive until this month, when OAMC shared a good look at one of their upcoming sneakers for 2020, the Type-O6. Based heavily on the German sportswear brand’s ZX franchise, the Type-O6 reworks some basic elements of the shoe for an exciting new look. Starting at the base, the midsole tooling features a hybrid construction, half standard ZX on the top half, while the bottom appears to use rounded bulges, similar to adidas’ Feet You Wear technology. The upper does not appear to be pulled from just one ZX shoe, rather features a general ZX template with other details added or removed, including Type-O6 branding on the lateral sides as well as elastic lacing with a ripcord. The Type-O6 will come in a flat grey color scheme, with a faded rubber midsole and a soft yellow interior lining.
