Copenhagen Fashion Week has delivered an absolute banger in the sneaker world, with O. FILES revealing their unique “Origami” take on the adidas BW Army, expected in Spring 2027.
O.FILES is a Copenhagen-based menswear brand founded by designer Oscar Jardorf, built around a quiet but distinct design philosophy that marries Scandinavian minimalism with Japanese-inspired craftsmanship. The art of folding, drawn directly from origami, runs as a recurring thread through the brand’s work, informing everything from its garment construction to its most recent adidas BW Army collaboration. The project was unveiled today, during the label’s showing at Copenhagen Fashion Week, delivering a freshly iconic design to the vintage trainer. The upper adds a special folded tongue construction on top of the BW’s standard look, merging the upper, eyestays, and tongues into a single piece of high-quality leather. The whole silhouette is dressed in white, grey, and gum soles, to emphasize the model’s construction and craftsmanship instead of telling a special story.
O. FILES X ADIDAS BW ARMY “ORIGAMI” RELEASE INFORMATION
The special new project from O. FILES and adidas does not have any release timeline yet, but given their unveiling at Copenhagen Fashion Week, we expect their arrival sometime in Spring 2027. The “Origami” edition features a unique folding technique to create the unusual upper’s shade, and casts the vintage trainer in simple neutral tones to highlight the shoe’s craftsmanship. Pairs will likely be limited and costly, releasing through O. FILES and adidas channels.
