The adidas NMD is back this week with a brand new look. The most popular Boost sneaker around returns this month with Primeknit uppers and a new split-tone midsole, which mixes a plain white forefoot with deep grey heel elements.

The adidas NMD_R1 has been considered a powerhouse for the Three Stripes since its rise to fame back in 2015. The first Boost-filled lifestyle shoe to hit the market, they were nearly impossible to get until 2016, when Boost technology itself became more commonplace throughout adidas footwear. Now, you can find various silhouettes from the NMD franchise in nearly any sneaker store that carries the Three Stripes. While the NMD is much more popular now, adidas is still keeping things fresh with brand new colorways. This week, the Primeknit version of the NMD_R1 has returned, this time carrying a new split-tone midsole. The forward part of the sole comes in Boost’s natural white color, while the heel section is painted a plain grey tone, including the underfoot EVA bumper.
