Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 3 “Bicoastal” Releases in June

Nina Chanel Abney launched her first collaboration with Jordan Brand back in 2022. Now, the New York artist and painter is back with another project, this time featuring the Air Jordan 3 for 2024.

Nina Chanel Abney and Jordan Brand have a new project in the works for 2024. The pair first teamed up back in 2022 to release reworked versions of the Air Jordan 2 in High and Low-top iterations, and are back two years later to release a special-edition Air Jordan 3. After teasing the release via a photo of the rubberized heel counters several months ago, the New York-based artist has shared a first look at the AJ3 in a photo from frequent sneaker photographer @arab_lincoln. The pair features an upper constructed from canvas in “Bicoastal” green, with brighter “Malachite” green suede overlays along the toes and heels. “Fossil” tan accents make up the laces, inner lining, and midsoles, while an orange Jumpman label on the heels adds a bright flash of color.

The next release from Nina Chanel Abney and Jordan Brand is expected to arrive on June 20th, 2024, though the release has not been confirmed by Nike yet. However, a landing page for her merch has been shared, where you can sign up for updates on the release via email. The “Bicoastal” green Air Jordan 3 will likely be available from both the SNKRS app and select retailers, for $225.
