Nike’s Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 has been a hot shoe for the Swoosh since Stüssy kicked off its return earlier this year. Now, Nike is ramping up its in-line releases of the early-2000s runner, recently adding two new colorways to the June lineup.

Originally created by legendary designer Steven Smith, the Zoom Spiridion Caged 2 first debuted back in 2002, making the silhouette nearly a piece of the Swoosh’s vintage archives. While it certainly feels like an older model, the Spiridon’s sleek shape and aggressive system of overlays make it right at home in today’s sneaker world. Thus, Nike is giving the old-school running shoe a second life, with plenty of new colorways slated to release throughout the year. Next up is the third round of standard release color schemes, this time in two contrasting colorways for Summer. The first follows the same color blocking as previous releases, constructing most of the shoe out of silver mesh and metallic overlays, with patches of royal blue mesh along the toe box and heels of the silhouette. The second colorway blankets the Air Zoom Spiridon in maroon, adding volt green to the Swoosh and outsole for an eye-catching look.
