New Balance’s 990v1 from 1982 arrived in a remastered format last year, dressing in a wealth of color schemes for the fortieth anniversary. This week, a ‘Green/Gold’ look for the Made in USA pair surfaced, coming soon.
The New Balance Made in USA Seasonal collection continues this month, with new releases of the brand’s 990 family in fresh colorways. Earlier this month, we got our first look at two colorways of the 990v4 that will be joining the collection designed by Teddy Santis, but today, we return to the original 990v1 with a new look for Spring. This pair features a bright green canvas base layer for the shoe, with darker green suede overlays from toe to heel. The ‘N’ logos are added in a muted gold shade, while cream white tongues and laces break up the colors.

New Balance’s next batch of Made in USA models continues later this month, on March 30th, 2023, with the release of a new 990v1 colorway. The bright green and green and gold color scheme of the retro runner will be available from both New Balance and select retailers, with a price tag of $190.
